Down To Earth Theatre Company |
Established in 1991, Down to Earth Theatre Company promotes environmental awareness to school children between the ages of 5 and 12 years. Our aim is to help young people understand why, and how, environmental problems affect them and to encourage them to look at ways in which they can help protect the environment.
2010 sees the expansion of Down To Earth Theatre Company with three productions on tour and the development of our interactive website.
Down To Earth Theatre Company is unique in our approach to schools and the products it now offers schools.

Planet Recyclon Arts Project |
Our superhero, ENVIRON is on a mission - to reduce our ever growing litter problems, encourage recycling, water and energy conservation. His mission is to recruit as many helpers as possible from school children, to community groups, youth projects and neighbourhoods and work with them to highlight the need to dispose of rubbish properly.
In order to get his important message across he has created a wall mural which needs to be painted, an interactive on line workbook with a number of characters from the DIRTY DUMPITS to the RECYCLONES and a series of adventures where rubbish is the enemy. |
